I didn't dare to hope. I told myself that the Casablanca summary was just a fluke.

Although it looks like they changed things, naturally. ;) Like moving up the time of Franz & Therese's marriage. And sadly,

なんだか、楽しそう :D I somehow find myself being excited instead of just laughing at the premise.

So.  To end the year, I tried a bit of drabbles.  Tried for fluff too... but I don't think I accomplished it.

100 words each.  IT KILLED ME. 
I wanted to write to my verbose content; but perhaps this gave me more discipline and made me more succinct?  NAH. Doubt it! Haha! 
In fact, I kinda cheated, because these three are read together for a complete picture.

Summary: a day in the life...

There's no point in me trying to write memorials about the people who retired today. I don't have the right words. There's nothing I can say that will make it right or better.

Let it simply be said that I'm thinking of the Tsukigumi fans today.

There's also no point in me saying anything about the poster for Shangri-La. The less I look at it the less I'll complain.

But as Becca pointed out to me, the summary has also changed. ;P

Before:

The near future. A world where water has become polluted due to nuclear war, and people battle endlessly searching for a safe source of water. A tyrant called the Dragon King rules the country with the water source. Sora, a man who lost his memories and was saved by a troupe of traveling entertainers, journeys with one of the troupe's dancers, Miu, to the Dragon King's palace "Shangri-La" in order to know his past. Eventually they develop an emotional bond. However, waiting for the two of them at "Shangri-La" is a cruel fate...

A futuristic musical romance depicting people who stand up to their destinies in a ruined world, with the human necessity of "water" as the theme.

Now:

In a certain Asian country after a nuclear war. It is a world where due to the war water has become polluted, and a king has taken supreme authority and controls the water source. One day, a man who collapsed in the wasteland is saved by a troupe of traveling entertainers. The man has escaped death; however, he has completely lost his memory. The only clue to his past is the blue-green beaded necklace he's wearing. That necklace was sent by Miu, one of the troupe's dancers, to her lover -- who went missing when he set off in search of the legendary realm of the former king, "Shangri-La". Miu gives the man the name "Sora" and together, in order for him to recover his past and her to find her lover, they embark on a journey to search for "Shangri-La". Thus begins their destiny, which will influence the future of the country...

Not much different, there are just more details... and the king is no longer a Dragon King?

The Shangri La poster looks even more like Final Fantasy X a video game XD  (The photoshopping only makes it moreso ^^;) But in all seriousness if this is any indication, I'm seriously excited for the costuming possibilities.

For the record, I think I'm predicting Tomu as the Dragon King and Micchan as part of the troupe of traveling entertainers.  (Unless it's Tomochin as the Dragon King, Tomu as the friend with the traveling entertainers, and Micchan in another role?)  Nah, I think I'm sticking to what I first said.  And then Tomochin can be Tomu's co-bad guy and Masako can also be wit te entertainers.

Oh, and I think Yuuhi used to be evil before she lost her memories XD  *scratches head* Maybe she's the Dragon King?

I'm scared of jinxing myself, but I'm really looking forward to this show <3

In other news, Yumiko's dinner show will be entitled "Thank you."  How sweet is that????  The fact that Nacchan is in there doesn't surprise me, and hopefully they'll do some Silver Rose Chronicle stuff..  Having Koma as well is an extra bonus <3

Solferino roles are out! I butchered some of the names (French, Italian and British...?) Please, anyone, feel free to fix them.

Plus the shinko principles: Sakina x Ayucchi in the leads (CUTE), Hokaze Narumi nibante (okay...) and Gaori sanbante.

*edits2* I tried to be pretty detached about this, but the more I think about it the worse I feel.

*edits3* In place of Hamako, Asaki Yumemi will be the next fukukumichou after April 25th.

There was already a huge gap between kumichou and vice-kumichou (Naga-san, you're amazing *______*), but Yumemi is the same year as Kimu. The harsh reality of upperclassmen depletion shows in Yukigumi as well.

And won't that be ironic when Kimu becomes top.

Cuddling on Chirstmas Eve

Today was Soragumi's first day back together to prepare for the Tokyo performance. Because of Special, the rehearsal period is really short -- only four days, aka until this Sunday ;________;

Alice-chan was wearing all black, dangly earrings, no hat... Suuuuuch pretty makeup and sooooooo suteki hair (in a semi-fluffy bun high on her head).

It was me and one other club member there to give her Christmas gifts ♥

I told her "The Challenge!!" had aired last night and was super fun to watch. She was glad, because when being filmed they couldn't really tell how it would turn out. But originally I think it was intended to be filmed earlier, because Alice-chan had told us at ochakai that since Dai-chan was out sick they were afraid she/they might not be able to appear in it. Thus today I asked her when it had been filmed and she said really recently, like after raku "during Special rehearsals".

I also queried about her short break between Special and shuugoubi (three days >.>;;;), during which she said she hadn't done anything fun, just preparing for Tokyo etc.

"Oh! But last night I went to that concert -- Aran Kei-san's concert."

NOTHING FUN, HMM, YES I SEE. Seriously, Alice-chan's memory lapses are one of her cutest and most "human" features XDDD;;; ♥ ♥ ♥

Actually I had already known where Alice-chan was last night, because the infamous and much-beloved K-san mailed me after the show to say Alice-chan had been there with "Riku, Ririko and several Sora babies". >:) And that Alice-chan was really hyped up for Touko-san☆☆☆☆☆

Three days of vacation and she uses one of them to see Touko-san. The heart, it melts ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Yes, I am completely mesmerized by Ten-chan standing there behind TamaTama. No, I'm not entirely convinced that she isn't staring down the camera making those eyes at me on purpose.

I’m lucky to have been able to see three shinjinkouen performances since becoming a Takarazuka fan.  They’re always so, so much fun.  Shinko performers only get one chance per run to do their performance and as a result always put 200% into their roles.

Shinkos are always a little rough around the edges, but even with that I found the Casablanca shinko very, very enjoyable on its own.  There were a *lot* of promising siennes in the cast.

Holiday debuggery

We know there were a few kinks with the holiday promotion. We've been working very hard to get them ironed out. If you have a paid/permanent account, keep on sending those coupons. Here's an update:

• If you were unable to send out multiple coupons at a time, please perform a hard refresh, and you should be good to go.
• If you redeemed a coupon to upgrade your account and the balance at checkout was $0 instead of $9.95 or $15, this means your upgrade did not go through (nor were you charged). We've straightened this out, so you can now apply your holiday coupon toward the purchase of an annual paid account.
• If you tried to redeem a holiday coupon and had trouble using a gift certificate to cover the balance of an annual paid account, we identified the root problem. If this happened to you, you can now use your holiday coupon together with your gift certificate.
• If the number of holiday coupons you have available suddenly goes up (instead of down), this might be due to recipients declining the coupons, at which point your pool of available coupons will be replenished and, therefore, increase.
• If you need assistance with holiday coupons or pretty much anything else (well, LiveJournal related), please open a support request and we'll be more than happy to help!

Tweaks

• There were some initial glitches displaying results on My Guests, but we've worked them out. We hope you'll check out who's been checking you out!

Things I learned from "THE CHALLENGE", the game-show-slash-bowling-competition that aired on Sky Stage this evening.

Ecchan SUCKS at bowling XDDD

TamaTama, however, is AMAZING once she gets going 8D

Arisa-chan and Monchi are also laughably bad at bowling, but it's not like I'm any better, so ^^;;; And when Monchi got a couple of good throws in she was really excited and cute ♥

Their cheerleading squad, dressed in vests and shirtsleeves a la Rick's Cafe employees, were Kai-chan, Rin-chan, BonBon, Mayu-chan and Ten-chan.

GOOD JOB PUTTING SO MANY OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE ON THE SAME PROGRAM, CS ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

So the "employees" were wearing white shirts and vests and also decorated themselves with tinsel and silly Christmas hats.

The Sky Fairies and Sky Reporters COSPLAYED CHARACTERS FROM CASABLANCA. TamaTama = the Moor singer at the bazaar, Ecchan = SAM, Arisa-chan = ILSA, Monchi = RICK *DIES* HER IN HER TOO-SMALL WHITE DINNER JACKET AND BOWTIE *DIESDIESDIES*

Midway through the competition the cheering section did a skit for them. THEY SANG THE EMPLOYEE SONG. BUT WITH DIFFERENT LYRICS, ABOUT HOW TAMATAMA SHOULD TRY HARDER AT BOWLING. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE AWESOME.

~*~ AND ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT ~*~

Over doing the game show corner were ALICE-CHAN AND DAI-CHAN♥☆♥☆♥☆♥☆♥ They were laughably slow at hitting the answer button (I blame Dai-chan :P), but as they said in the end, "at least we got all the Soragumi questions". ;P

They ALSO won the challenge, "name all of the stars who have played Der Tod in Elisabeth". IT TOOK LIKE FIVE TRIES, first Koma and Nacchan forgot YUKIGUMI'S OWN ICHIRO MAKI, and then everyone who hit the answer button next kept forgetting one star whom they hadn't listed yet and ran out of time -- Soragumi failed once but then got the chance to do it again AND WON. :D

...That question anyway. We came out 3rd overall. ^^;;;

I may have scared the Hoshigumi fans around me a little. >.>;;; Especially at the employee song I squealed quite a lot, and cheered whenever my troupe did well and also whined loudly at things like when Tommy and Remi-chan stole the question "who was Soragumi's first kumichou" (WAIT that means Sora DIDN'T answer all of their own questions...?)

Aahhh. Tonight was fun. ^___________^

Восходящие потоки воздуха и боковой ветер рвали его на части, собирали снова вытягивали и закручивали из него огромные рукава, так что со стороны казалось будто это он сам, являясь чем-то эфирным и осознанным, ползет, вытаскивая из своего газообразного хрупкого тела большие, но осторожные щупы. При этом само облако верило будто вся эта расклубившаяся кутерьма не результат разности температур, а его собственный ритуальный танец. Так наверно и мы в этой своей реальности наивно полагаем, что вся наша жизнедеятельность есть наша же свобода выбора. На самом же деле мы не что иное как аморфная масса состоящая из тысяч микрочастиц и вертит всей этой колоссальной конгломерацией всего лишь случайный набор внешних обстоятельств. Похожий мыслеряд промелькнул в голове Сатьяма за секунду до того как он нырнул в обжигающе холодные воды бирюзового озера. Глядя вверх на подсвеченный солнцем треугольник горы идеальной пирамидальной формы он заставил себя погрузиться в этот «нулевой» кипяток еще два раза после чего срывающимся голосом прокричал далекой вершине слово «Намерение!»…
